Yann Le Bourbouach has spent much of his career in the film industry. At Warner Bros. and later at Gaumont, he helped oversee the release and promotion of films that went on to become major hits both, international and french, including Million Dollar Baby, Matrix, Harry Potter, Very Bad Trip, Christopher Nolan’s Batman, Intouchables, Polisse and Les Petits Mouchoirs.
Passionate about human stories and the world of sports, he produced the Emmy Award nominated Tour de France : Unchained, a series that helped reshape how an international audience views the Tour de France; Gabart: quand gagner ne suffit plus, a spectacular four-year immersion into the private life of the talented French skipper; and the documentary series Roland Garros: between the lines, a unique behind-the-scenes experience in the realm of clay courts.
His fascination with the world of sports does not prevent him from also exploring significant events in recent French political history, such as The Bettencourt Affair: The Bilionaire, the butler and the boyfriend, which was nominated for the 2024 International Emmy Awards.
